Humane Association of Georgia, Inc. (HAGA) - a coalition of humane societies, animal control and rescue groups, and concerned individuals throughout Georgia - is dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of all living creatures.  We are active advocates for positive, reasonable legislative and regulatory changes to further this goal.  In addition, we sponsor a number of exciting animal welfare projects and initiatives, including the nation's first state-wide action plan for animals during times of natural or man-made disaster and a special motor vehicle license tag to provide funding for low-cost spay/neuter in our state.

We serve as a networking and information resource for animal owners, veterinarians, animal control officers, humane workers, prosecuting attorneys, legislators, law enforcement officers, and all citizens working to improve the treatment of animals across Georgia and throughout the United States.
